Krissi Fleming, Dean of Students

This is my 29th year in education and I joined Gilbert Public Schools in 2016. Prior to being the Dean of Students at Canyon Rim, I was a Director of a child development center, parent coach, instructional coach, and a teacher of students Pre-K to high school.

At Canyon Rim, care and respect are lived out every day and students are empowered to have agency over their learning. Canyon Rim is a place where staff and families work together to ensure the growth, well-being, and success of every student.

As an educator, I believe success begins with building a foundation of strong relationships. I enjoy helping foster those relationships in everything I do and working alongside Mr. Lopat to maintain the strong tradition of success that Canyon Rim is known for. I love being a Canyon Rim Cougar!
