Joe Lopat, Principal

I am excited and honored to be the principal of Canyon Rim. Before taking over at Canyon Rim, I served as the assistant principal at both Greenfield Junior High and Greenfield Elementary. I was a junior high teacher in GPS before becoming an administrator.

Canyon Rim’s mission statement is 'Care, Respect, and Empower'. Our phenomenal staff is dedicated to building relationships with students, inspiring a passion for learning, and being a positive influence for all students on campus. Canyon Rim is a school with exciting traditions and a family atmosphere. PTA and parent involvement are vital contributors to the overall success of our school. At Canyon Rim, conventional and traditional programs are offered to best meet the needs of individual students. Canyon Rim has maintained a consistent “A” rating recognized by the Arizona State Board of Education. This honor is a reflection of our dedication to academics and educating the whole child.

Canyon Rim is an amazing place to be and we look forward to the success of our Cougars!
